Snowspots padded out of the Skyclan camp, her long fluffy coat blowing in the slight breeze. She had much to think about and needed sometime to call her own. She muttered to herself "What better place to think than the Sun Tree." She slowly came closer to the giant tree. Although it was amazingly tall the queens and elders exaggerated when describing the tree to kits. It was her rule to leave the matters of the heart on the ground, though she never succeed in following it. She made her way up the tree not at a very fast pace. When she finally got to the top she carefully stepped onto the closes branch and nestled herself comfortable on it. She began her little talk to herself."Now Snowspots you get to train Eaglefeather's kit. Better hope it turns out well. I am sure she is as good an apprentice as her father was."
She fell into a thoughtful silence. Than slowly breaking it she whispered "Eaglefeather." She went quiet once more and than continued in a shaken voice "Why do I not act. I feel stupid sitting in a tree talking about how I love Eaglefeather. I know there is hope, but..." Her voice died off and she tried to change her thoughts from the topic. Again she had failed to follow that one simple rule. It might sound stupid and hard, but this she-cat tried hard to follow it. Her attention snapped to movement under the tree. She already knew that it was an old scrawny mouse. It had learned to only come out when Snowspots was at the top of the tree. She never bothered catching it, but left it just in case the queens needed it. Though she would not go hunt it, the mouse provided a nice distraction from her thoughts.
Soon she sat up stretching and casually sat on her hunches. The thought of slipping sliced through her brain and her front paws slipped forward. Snowspots hissed at herself and flattened herself closer to the branch and dug her claws into the bark as if she did not plan to jump down.
